lori-51012-mayflowers

Back in April, I put the style spotlight on frames in rainy blue and aqua hues, drawing inspiration from the seasonal weather conditions—aka, April Showers. What do April Showers bring? So we’ve come full circle from April to May, and once again, I’m letting my surroundings influence my spec style choices—and right now I’m putting the petal to the metal with flower print and blossom embellished frames. The reverberation of an opera singer’s voice echoing in a concert hall, amplifiers pumping the sound-waves of songs to audiences, headphones making the transmission of music a private exchange directly to your ears, and knobs on a radio adjusting the volume—these all make the argument that music is, as the saying goes, ‘music to my ears’. The color spectrum is saturating frames more than ever, and I feel like Dorothy stepping out of her black-and-white world into the colorful land of Oz. Everything looks bright, dazzling and optimistic. With the mounting colored options, I find myself happily faced with debates such as the choice between peacock blue accented frames (would they pop out from my brown hair?) or a blushing pink frame (would they flatter my complexion?).
